The Crafty Club had a great time  on the 2nd December as they met together to put on show the items that had been created by them throughout the year.

On display was Christmas ornaments made with pearls, beads, crystal and ribbons.  The centre piece was a model size Christmas tree trimmed with beautiful baubles displaying the designer’s many crafts and talents.

An amazing doll dressed in a blue knitted dress trimmed with white was created with a 2nd doll underneath.  The knitting was very neat and beautifully made.

There were many expertly made animal toys in different colours and shapes.  A little knitted basket held a circle of small knitted toys in a variety of designs which would surely be a delight to any child.

A mobile was hung up and displayed different sizes of Snowmen and Father Christmas which had been made with circles of cloth threaded together. Other items included crochet shrug cardigans, tapestry, book marks etc.

The group finished off by sharing a Christmas buffet with a variety of wonderful food some of it was homemade displaying more talents by the ladies.

The group will meet together after the Christmas holiday to once again share their creative skills and to learn how to do new crafts.
